that one murder occurred, in Washington, D.C., during
their prayer vigils on the National Mall between
July 21-26th.
The Christian Defense Coalition had been initially
been told on Friday by the Metropolitan Police’s
public information office that no murders had taken
place during that time period.
Although the one homicide represents a significant
drop in deaths over the previous weeks, the Christian
Defense Coalition will continue to pray for God to
reduce crime and violence in Washington, D.C. over
the next six months.
