Family Research Council's Tony Perkins To Hold Media

Council President Tony Perkins will host a media conference
call to announce FRC's newest initiative, Call2Fall.
The Call2Fall is a public commitment for Christians
to set aside some time on July 5, 2009 to pray for
the healing of our nation. The day after Americans
celebrate their "independence", they will
pray for "dependence" upon God.
"America is a nation in moral crisis. Four
out of every ten children are born out of wedlock,
and every day roughly 3,000 unborn children are aborted
in our county. From homosexual 'marriage' to proposed
curbs on religious speech, there are serious matters
for the church to address, humbly and with great earnestness,
before God. That's what the Call 2 Fall is about," Perkins
said.
Family Research Council will be launching a website, www.call2fall.com,
for churches, pastors, and other individuals to sign
up to pledge to pray on July 5th.
